Golden Growers Collective
The Golden Growers Collective is a farmer incubator program designed to support local small or micro growers in scaling up their production to meet the local food needs of our community.
We recognize that starting or expanding food production can be a daunting task. We hope to ease some of the challenges by offering a consignment stall at the Farmers Market, as well as resources to support the growth of food production businesses.
Consignment Stall
The Consignment Stall is a program offered to new or small growers who may not produce enough to fill a whole market stand. By providing a tent & display infrastructure as well as a representative to sell the produce, the Collective Stall is a great entry point into the local food market and an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in producing on a community scale.
Resources for Growers
We have compiled a collection of resources to support emerging local food producers. From Market Gardening 101 to farm biz financing, regenerative farming practices, to farmer mentorship networks, the resources are out there to support small farmers, and sometimes it’s just a question of knowing how to access them.
